• The candidate, in consultation with the employer, agrees on the scope, and research area, specifies the issue/problem to be solved and outlines the subject of the doctoral thesis.
  • In consultation with the employer, the candidate selects a potential auxiliary supervisor from among the employees of the economic entity in which the program will be implemented.
  • The candidate, the employer and the potential auxiliary supervisor agree on the scientific discipline (in which the education at CUT DS is conducted) in which the doctorate will be  pursued.
  • The candidate and the assistant supervisor contact a potential supervisor or representative of a selected scientific discipline who will help select a supervisor from the Cracow University of Technology.
  • It is allowed to choose a scientific supervisor from outside the Cracow University of Technology, but in this case, it is necessary to choose an auxiliary supervisor from the CUT.
  • The implementation doctorate can be done at CUT in one of the following configurations:
    1. CUT DS doctoral student, academic supervisor from the CUT, auxiliary supervisor from the enterprise;
    2. CUT DS doctoral student, two academic supervisors from the CUT (to be determined by the leading discipline), an auxiliary supervisor from the business entity;
    3. CUT DS doctoral student, academic and auxiliary supervisors from the CUT, assistant supervisor from a business entity;
    4. CUT DS doctoral student, academic supervisor from the CUT, academic supervisor from another scientific unit, auxiliary supervisor from an economic entity;
    5. UT DS doctoral student, academic supervisor from another scientific unit (representing the discipline in which CUT DS has a program), auxiliary supervisor from the CUT, auxiliary supervisor from an economic entity; CUT affiliation.
  • In each case, the supervisor must represent one of the disciplines in which CUT DS has a program.
  • The scientific supervisor, together with the candidate and the auxiliary supervisor, complete the application in the OSF system in accordance with the requirements of the Implementation Doctorate program and in accordance with the applicable communication of the Minister of Education and Science and on the basis of the detailed scope of information contained in the application submitted under the "Implementation Doctorate" program.
  • The project application is treated as an individual “grant” project of a potential supervisor. Signing the necessary documents for the program by persons authorized to sign applications is possible only in correspondence with the supervisor or other CUT employee.
  • The supervisor, whose application has been qualified by the Ministry of Education and Science for implementation, informs the potential doctoral student about the need to enter the recruitment process for the CUT DS, in accordance with the Rules for Admission to the CUT Doctoral School §3 and according to the detailed conditions for each discipline of education. .
